Parisian shopping spectacular
Paris takes a look at dance and fashion at Danse avec la Mode in a ten-floor department store this autumn.
From September 10th to October 4th the colourful Galeries Lafayette shopping arcade in the capital will be awash with performances, workshops and daily lessons.
Ballet, modern and tap are some of the treats for shoppers, which include demos in the beautiful boutique windows by Karl Lagerfeld and the Pet Shop Boys.
Lagerfield has been described as one of the most influential fashion designers of the 20th century collaborating with Chanel, Chloe and Fendi.
The Pet Shop Boys are probably better known for top ten classics, such as West End Girls and Always on My Mind.
Free attractions include can-can girls and make-up sessions as well as the entertainment expected to draw shoppers in from nearby Boulevard Haussmann.
Galeries Lafayette is open between Monday and Saturday from 09:30 to 19:30, local time.
